About The Bishop Family

I figured that if you are going to be reading the blog then you should probably know a little bit about us.

I am Shanna and I am 23.  I am married to my wonderful husband of 4 years, Kyle. Together we have two beautiful children, Shaela who is 2 and Trenton who is 1.  So a little about each of us personally.

I love to go shopping.  I also love to spend time with my family and friends.  My children and my husband are my life.  I wouldn't change anything about that for the world.  I love being able to stay home with my kids every day.  Some moms don't like it and would rather work.  I personally LOVE it!  I love getting to see all of the first things that my children do. I love having that bond with them, them knowing that I am always going to be here.  It is just an awesome thing to have. I basically live life to the fullest. I like to know that I am doing everything that I can for all of us to be happy. I love my life and everyone in it!  I am a very blunt person and I can sometimes hurt your feelings.  Most of the time I dont mean to do it so I am sorry.  If you are reading a post and you don't like what it says, I am sorry.  I am not the type of person to say what you want to hear so you will like me. I want people to lie me for me, not someone I pretend to be.

Kyle is a very laid back person.  There is not too much that bothers him.  He was born and raised in Oklahoma.  He joined the military and he got stationed here in GA.  We met through a mutual friend and got married.  When he got out of the military he decided to stay here in GA with me.  Kyle loves anything to do with cars.  His dream is to one day own a shop.  I hope that we can make that dream come true one day.

We got married on June 2, 2007.  We lived the married couples life for a few months, until I found out I was pregnant with our oldest.  We found out April 17, 2008.  We had the OMG we are pregnant but what are we going to do feeling.  We got excited about it, really fast.  We found out we were having a girl.  Miss Shaela Marie was born on December 21, 2008 at 9:16 AM.  She was the most beautiful little girl I had EVER seen in my life.

That brings me to Shaela.  She is one of the most laid back little girls I have ever seen.  She is so happy most of the time.  She has decided at the age of two that she is too old for a nap, so we skip naptime most days.  She loves playing with her toys.  She has a dollhouse that she instantly wants to play with EVERY morning when she wakes up!  She is a good little girl.  I don't have many problem out of her too much.

When Shaela was six months old we surprisingly found out that we were pregnant again.  This time we really had the OMG what are we going to do feeling.  Shaela wasn't even a year old yet.  I was a nervous happy!  It grew on us though.

That brings me to Trenton.  Trenton was born via emergency c-section on February 17, 2010.  He was 4 weeks and 3 days early.  I had a partial placental abruption and we almost lost me and Trenton.  Trenton is definitely our miracle baby!  He is very laid back too.  He is into EVERY though.  He loves to climb on stuff.  He has learned how to jump off the back of the couch..yes at only 17 months old.  Scary huh?  Haha.

All in all we have a pretty good life.  I have a wonderful husband and marriage.  We have a beautiful little girl and a handsome little man.  They are all my life.  I love every second of every day of this crazy little life I live.

A little about the blog!

I'm not writing this blog to fuss about my life.  I'm not writing this blog to make an image of my life that is not true.  I'm not writing this blog to try and make people change their way of doing things to the way that I do it.  I am simply writing this blog because while being a stay at home can be so much fun, it can also be a little crazy and not so much fun at times.  I just want to have a place to vent if I need to and also a place to talk about all of the fun things that my kids do.

Sometimes you will see me mention two kids, Kady and Branson.  They are not mine.  I keep them for a friend during the week and they are here most of the day..everyday.  So a lot of the things that are shared will involve them too.

Anyways..cant wait to really get into this blog!  Thanks for reading:)
